A new art prize is being launched at Gunnersbury. The founder is Isabel H Langtry, the Principal of Hampstead School of Art. (Registered Charity No. 1072327) who is a long standing member of the Friends and recently joined its committee.
The London Sculpture Prize will be a celebration which promotes UK and international contemporary sculpture. It is open to all sculptors from around the world. A selection of their gallery works are being brought together for an exhibition at Gunnersbury Park Museum. The works will be on view to the public on 26 and 27 November from 10am to 4.30pm
The 2025 finalists from the selected sculptors will be announced at the private view on 25 November when £12,000 of awards will be announced. The Friends have contributed £1,000 as one of the prizes.
