We have been notified by the Ealing Council Major Projects Team of a public meeting about the proposals for sports in Phase 3 of the Regeneration Scheme, to take place in the Small Mansion at Gunnersbury Park. All are welcome.
They wrote as follows: “A major new Sports Hub for Gunnersbury is currently under development, which marks the next phase in the regeneration of Gunnersbury Park. This large-scale project aims to unlock the enormous untapped potential of the site to achieve a transformational change, making Gunnersbury Park a ‘destination’ for visitors across London. Working closely with the Heritage Lottery Fund and English Heritage, the first £21m phase of investment for the museum and areas of the park is starting on site in 2015.
The Project Team led by the London Boroughs of Ealing & Hounslow is embarking on the next phase of this exciting project and are inviting you to come along to our public meeting to hear about our plans to develop sports facilities.
Representatives from both Ealing & Hounslow Councils and AFLS+P Architects, leading on the design of the building, will be on hand to answer any questions. We really want to hear your views, worries and hopes for this phase of the development at Gunnersbury Park.
If you have any queries about this meeting, please email Sona at OConnorSon@ealing.gov.uk.”
