This year Gunnersbury has become one of the 14 historic houses and museums which put on a lively programme of online talks each year. The theme is Food and Drink and the first talks, from Hogarth’s House and Ham House, take place this week at 7pm on 5 and 6 October respectively. The Gunnersbury talk by Val Bott will be on 3 November
The group is run by volunteers and is now a registered charity. You can book a place without paying, but they welcome a donation of £5 per talk. The programme is devised as “First Course” and “Second Course”, each with 7 talks, and you can pay £25 “per course” or £45 for the “full meal”. All proceeds are split between the partner historic properties who are providing the talks.
