John Wells, the tree expert, has been booked by the Ealing Walking Club to do a tree tour in Gunnersbury Park on Sunday, 29 October. The event is free and will start at 11am outside the Museum. It will last for about 2 hours and visit between 20 and 25 different tree species out of about 150 in the whole park.

John Wells is a long-standing member of the Friends and tells us “anybody is welcome to join me!” Should you wish to join the walk, John asks that you email him on johnwells3@hotmail.co.uk by 2pm the day before a walk. Your message should confirm you name, which walk you will be joining (he does lots) and your contact details – this is in case he has to postpone or cancel an event due to the weather or other unforeseen circumstances.
