Events announced for 2027!

Now that the Gunnersbury Park Development Trust has planning approval for a revised scheme for festivals, information about those being arranged for 2027 is beginning to emerge.

Rock N Roll Circus
This award-winning festival will make its capital debut at Gunnersbury Park from 22–25 July 2027. The independently run, family-friendly festival will expand to three UK locations in 2027, with the new London event joining established Rock N Roll Circus festivals in Sheffield and Norwich. The event brings together major live music with circus performance, emerging talent and entertainment, inside and around its spectacular Big Top, and aims to offer an accessible festival designed to offer much more than a traditional outdoor concert. The cultural and performance side of the Circus will also form an important part of its London debut. It will be working with the National Centre for Circus Arts, one of Europe’s leading circus training spaces, to bring hands-on circus workshops to Gunnersbury Park.

Simply Red
Led by Mick Hucknall, Simply Red will headline the event on Friday 13 August 2027 as part of their Summer Funk ’27 tour, a UK and European run that follows their 40th anniversary celebrations in 2025. The Gunnersbury date will feature Lisa Stansfield and Soul II Soul, with further acts still to be announced. The show is scheduled to run from mid-afternoon until 10.30pm.

Other events can be found on the Estate’s own website here. Don’t miss the rest of the centenary exhibitions and, amongst other film offerings, The Rocky Horror Picture Show on 30 October. This is a time to remember its fabulous star, Tim Curry, who lived for a time on Strand on the Green, and died recently.
