Travellers with caravans moved into the South west corner of Gunnersbury Park on Sunday evening. Hounslow Council has served the legal notice to get them to leave and this afternoon have announced that they are closing the Park for the time being for safety reasons.

They are keeping their web-site updated and the family of community web-sites which includes ChiswickW4.com and BrentfordTW8.com is carrying the story with updates.

ChiswickW4.com says the travellers moved off to Blondin Park on the evening of 11 June and have said they intend to stay only a few days. Ealing Council will now have to deal with them. We hope the situation will be resolved as soon as possible.
