Planners advise approval of the Putt in the Park application

In a long and detailed report, which you can read here, the officers of the Planning Department have advised the Planning Committee (meeting at 7 pm on 24th June) that: The application is recommended for approval, subject to appropriate safeguarding conditions.

Only the good sense of the Councillors on that committee can now protect the Community Interest Company from one of the worst decisions it has yet made, and apparently made in the worst possible way.

However, as Putt has shown over its rejection at Clapham Common, its wealthy owners (one borrowed £13m in 2017) are quite capable of appealing against planning decisions.
