The Brentford & Chiswick Local History Society is hosting a talk to introduce the new Scala Publications book about Gunnersbury which will be on sale for the first time on the night. It will soon also be available at the Park cafe and in the Museum when it opens in the summer, price £6.95. James Wisdom and Val Bott will use more than 65 images, some newly discovered, along with their recent research for the book, to tell the story of creating the book as well as some of the Gunnersbury story from the middle ages to the present. The publication has been sponsored by the Friends and supported by a grant from the John and Ruth Howard Trust.
