An illustrated  presentation by a member of the team from the Museum of London Archaeology (MOLA), in the Small Mansion. Doors open for light refreshments 2pm, presentation and discussion 2.15-3.15pm, optional site visit 3.15-3.45pm.

As part of the development of the Parks for People application (in 2014), MOLA were commissioned to study the Gunnersbury estate for its archaeological potential. The work involved a ‘desk-top study’ of previous archaeological and historical work, a walk-over survey, some geophysical investigations and finally some 15 trial trenches.
