Father Christmas at Gunnersbury . . .

Yes, its 1 September so it must be time to start thinking about Christmas! The Gunnersbury “Visit Father Christmas” weekends are now up on the CIC website. The dates are 4, 5, 11, 12, 18 and 19 December – as these events sell out every year you should consider booking soon, if you want to make sure you can take children along!

Gunnersbury’s Victorian Father Christmas, dressed in his traditional green robes, will welcome visitors at the Historic Kitchens. Ticket-holders have the chance to help the kitchen maid make decorations to take home with them and then they can visit Father Christmas in his festive Study. Children will receive a traditional wooden toy as a gift.

The initial ticket price of £12.50 secures a time-slot but is for one child only. Additional children can be paid for on the day at the price of £10 per child. All adults visit free of charge.
