The Walled Garden which houses Capel Manor’s Gunnersbury Centre was packed with visitors for the recent Open Day. Students were demonstrating their skills, for example, in floristry and animal care, there was a huge range of plants to buy and a new piece of landscaping, The Stumpery, was opened by the College Principal. This remarkable project has assembled roots and stumps of many kinds, some provided by arboricultural contractors working across Greater London. The student team has designed and constructed a garden with an almost gothic feel.
